歌手の紹介

シュポングル(Shpongle)はイギリスで活動しているラジャ・ラム、サイモン・ポスフォードの2人からなるクラブミュージックアーティストグループ。

所属レーベルはTwisted Records。

民族的、宗教的音楽を特徴としたサイケデリックトランスやアンビエントサイケ(psybient)を得意とし、民族楽器のサンプリングとシンセサイザーのミックスで作ることが多い。

1996年から本格的活動を始め、2005年にいったん活動を終了したものの、2009年に4枚目のアルバムとなる「Ineffable Mysteries From Shpongleland」を発売し、実質的に活動を再開している。
